BIOGRAPHY

Adalto Soares is a horn player and conductor. He is a member of the Quinteto de Metais UNIRIO and conductor of the Banda Sinfônica da Universidade Federal do Estado do Rio de Janeiro-UNIRIO. He is also a doctoral student in music education at the Federal University of Bahia - UFBA. Adalto Soares has a successful career as an instrumentalist and has been a soloist with prestigious orchestras in Brazil and abroad. He has also worked as a lecturer and director of music festivals and orchestras. Adalto Soares is known for his creativity. Thus, he founded the Lyra Tatuí Brass Orchestra, a unique socio-cultural project that has won national and international awards. He is also co-founder of the group "Horn Brazil", which presents the horn as a solo instrument in different styles of Brazilian popular music. Adalto Soares has released several CDs and is known for his outstanding personality and collaborations with renowned musicians.
