Tristan Reiling, graduate of the Institute for Music Journalism, has won the LfK Media Award 2020

Tristan Reiling, graduate of the Institute for Music Journalism, has won the LFK Media Award 2020 in the category Television / Universities of Applied Sciences and Universities with his video production Anatolian Delights – Revival of Turkish Music from the 70s. The coveted prize was awarded on the evening of 17 May 2021 at a - for the first time purely digital - gala event.

The jury's reasoning:
"Thanks to a captivating narrative as well as the successful combination of elaborately researched historical facts, an exceptionally strong choice of music and convincing protagonists, the contribution offers a completely new perspective on a not quite everyday topic. An authentic overall concept, meticulously and professionally realised, interesting and instructive."

Every year, the Landesanstalt für Kommunikation Baden-Württemberg awards the LFK Media Prize. It is awarded for outstanding achievements by private broadcasters licensed in Baden-Württemberg. The prize is awarded to authors of radio and television contributions which, in addition to their journalistic quality, are distinguished by special creativity and originality.
